What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

My biggest recommendation would be to create a life full of healthy habits, routines, and rituals that support a strong mindset, healthy body, and a thriving life. Over the years I have built some incredible habits, habits like meal prepping, eating intuitively, exercising daily, getting enough sleep, and carving out time in the calendar for self-care have been a total game-changer. These habits not only led me to my 90lb weight loss but also led me to find my true passion and purpose in life.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

The gym literally saved my life! 11 years ago I weighed 213lbs and hated every bit of my body! I hated the relationship that I had with myself, with food, and with fitness. Instead of facing reality and taking ownership of my health. Instead, I turned to food, booze, cigarettes, and work just to help me cope with my feelings. Getting fit and healthy mentally, physically, and emotionally has impacted all areas of my life. (Relationships, Career, & Confidence)

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would donate a portion of the money to FITGirl, Inc. The mission of FITGirl, Inc. is to empower young girls as they develop and mature by demonstrating positive lifestyle choices; physical, mental, relational, and nutritional. I would also invest in 365DailyHustle which is an organization that empowers, motivates, and coaches women to BossUp and lose weight, get toned, double their energy, and feel sexy and confident in their bodies without dieting, excessive cardio, and guilt motivation.
