What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Find some type of fitness activity that you enjoy so it won’t feel like work. If you have a friend that enjoys the same activity, try working out together so you can hold each other accountable. Personally, I try to eat clean 5-6 days a week and then I give myself a cheat day to eat whatever I want once a week.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has always been something I have been passionate about. Working out has helped me overcome some mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. It also allows me to feel better about myself, which then allows me to be a better mom/wife for my family. I am also lucky enough that I have been able to open my own CKO kickboxing studio where I can take my passion for fitness and help others succeed with their health and fitness goals. I especially enjoy teaching kids kickboxing classes.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

Being that it has been such a challenging time navigating life and running my business through this pandemic, if I won the $20k I would take my family on a small vacation to celebrate and then I would use the rest of the money to put towards my business so that I can continue to support my community through health/fitness and kickboxing.
