The most important aspect of maintaining health and fitness are your daily habits. You don't have to be perfect but you have to be persistent. Make fitness and healthy foods your lifestyle, not something you do sometimes. Your food choices are 80% of how you look and feel, so make sure you are eating the right kinds of natural, unprocessed foods. Lift weights and do other things that you like. Then you are more likely to do it. Fitness should feel good, never like a punishment. Love yourself !
Fitness IS life. It influences every aspect. When you are fit and healthy you have the energy, mental clarity and emotional stability to get through almost anything that life gives you. I was able to survive an incredibly difficult divorce from an abusive man and raise 4 children thanks to my dedication to fitness. My ex promised to destroy me, but I proved him wrong! The mental strength you gain from fitness makes you able to handle anything. You gain the confidence to believe in yourself.
For me, being featured in the magazine would give me a huge opportunity to reach so many women. I want to share my experience of a lifetime of fitness. If I won the prize money I would use it to help others. I could keep my studio open and I could help more people. The pandemic caused us to close and we lost so much. We are struggling to make it through. I want to keep helping people get as fit and healthy as possible by keeping my gym open.
