I’m passionate about health & fitness.I try my best to be healthy for myself and my family. Give your body the love it deserves.
I would say start slow. The whole health and fitness “game” is a journey, not a race. Trying to lose weight the quick way will just backfire and you may feel worse then you did before. Working out and eating healthy is not a chore, it is a reward for your body and a big “Thank You” for what it does daily and will constantly do for you through life.
I have always found fitness to be a stress reliever. The strength and endurance that comes from a regimented routine is just a bonus. After having my daughter and not having as much free time, I knew my workouts were way more important to me then they used to be. Now they help me reconnect with myself, clear my mind, stay strong and be healthy for my daughter and show her the importance of taking care of your body.
I would most definitely put some into savings to use for when my daughter gets older. I would love to finish my basement and set up a full gym for myself and my husband to use. Right now I have foam mats on the floor, a stand up mirror and random free weights. It gets the job done now, but it would be much nicer to have it finished, to look and feel like a real gym. I would love to have an area for my daughter to play while we are working out. We want her to feel included.
