What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

To sound more than cliche, just do it. There will always be a million excuses to NOT get started, but once you do find a fitness routine that works for your lifestyle & you get into a rhythm of daily small work outs, it changes your mindset. You can’t think of a day where you DON’T want to work out.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness is something I get to enjoy with my whole family. My husband helps motivate me while I make up routines. My kids jump all over me while planking, my animals join in when running is involved. It’s always an adventure. It’s mostly messy, never perfect, but always fun!

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I can’t say I wouldn’t throw a large portion of the money at some leftover Student Loans, because I definitely would. Not only would that help my future business ventures, but it would help focus more of our family financials on adventures with our kids.
