What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

The fundamentals of creating a healthy lifestyle come from inside of us and understanding our “WHY.” First, come to love your body and believe it’s the greatest gift you’ve ever received. Next, see every day as a new beginning. Understanding this is a spiritual pathway, and not just simply a physical state of being. Our greatest growth in fitness, comes from: setting realistic goals, believing in ourselves, celebrating our victories, and understanding this is your journey

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness is my sacred time. The place where I blend all my most positive and negative emotions together, to create the fuel needed to allow me to see through: fear, anxiety, and the negativity of the daily grind. The gym is where I focus on my intentions, goals, gratitude’s, and I can let go of anything that doesn’t support my happiness. The act of helping others and motivating them to exceed their personal expectations, deeply inspires me to continue my own growth and development

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would use it to develop the next phase of my journey. Becoming a motivational speaker. I want to help people grow into becoming the best version of themselves. I would love to share my story with others in search of elevating their lives and experiencing the benefits of healthy living. From overcoming severe scoliosis, countless surgeries, severe vision issues, depression,eating disorders, and body shaming.To reaching my greatest fitness goals in my 50’s and never looking back.
