Trying giving up soda, fried food, bread or pasta. Ease away from a lot of sugary snacks and treats. Get at least 30 minutes of cardio done every day! Fitness positively influences my life because it gives me the ability to help others! Most people who want to lose weight and get in shape just don't know where to begin! It brings me great joy to help start people on the right path in their fitness journey. Seeing clients achieve their goal puts a huge smile on my face. Knowing my influence has helped to change lives, is what keeps me focused on my fitness journey!
If I were the next Ms Health and Fitness I would use the $20,000 to help underserved communities in their fight against obesity. Covid-19 has shown us that systemic health and social inequities have put some members of racial and ethnic minority groups at increased risk of getting the disease. People that are obese are at an even higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19. I would use the $20,000 to help educate, inform and make resources available for the people that need them the most.
