Surviving stage 4 cancer has paved my way to give back to the community as a PA. I am energetic and driven to training and fitness.
The first step is wanting to change and the second is executing that change. I recommend putting your foot on the gas pedal and take that leep forward. Commit yourself to a new sustainable lifestyle, not a fad diet or workout. Persistence and consistency and watch the magic unfold.
Fitness was originally forced upon me when I had to relearn how to walk. It was the only way to move forward through that difficult time. Once that hurtle was accomplished, I wanted to get myself back to where I was prior to my diagnosis. Strength training and exercising were ways I knew that would help ward off illness through mindfulness and positive energy. In addition, the release of endorphins helps me deal with any built up tension by clearing my mind to conquer the days to come!
I dedicated my life to education so I can help care for others as they did for me! Now, I need to pay those student loans back.
