44 years YOUNG haha, just started weightlifting 2.5 yrs ago and LOVE it! Love gardening, have a small hobby farm and love riding my 3 horses
Start small. Pick one healthy thing you can do consistently and make a habit of it, whether its drinking more water, scheduling a workout etc. Visualize "If I stick with this, in three months my body will have made amazing progress." It really comes down to Just. Do. It. And once you see success on any level your motivation will increase to keep going.
It gives me goals to strive for and a healthy mindset. I enjoy pushing myself to achieve growth and I have found that weightlifting does that for me. There's nothing like the feeling of breaking a personal record. And personal is the key there -- everyone's goals are different and I enjoy encouraging others in their fitness growth!
I enjoy our small hobby farm and my three rescue horses, so I would probably use it to make sure I could continue giving them a good home for the rest of their lives.
