Fitness allows me to be a better wife, a better mom, a better friend, and a better all around woman. When I eat healthy and exercise I am more patient, I have a more positive outlook, I feel stronger and more confident. Fitness has helped me overcome so many obstacles in life and I wouldn’t be the woman I am today if it wasn’t such a huge part of my life.
I would first start by donating to the Childhood Obesity Foundation so that schools could better educate students on healthy eating and exercise. Obesity isn’t the only problem that starts from childhood- eating disorders do as well. As someone who struggled with eating disorders myself, this is something that is near to my heart.
