I turned 50 this year and am enjoying being in the best shape of my life. I love my new healthy lifestyle. I started modeling at 49!
For those who want to be fit and healthy, I recommend putting yourself first. Make YOU, your number one priority. The hardest part is deciding to take that first step. Once you start, you will be amazed at how your fitness and healthy eating journey changes you both physically and mentally. It’s never too late to get started. I didn’t get serious about my health and fitness until I was 48. Over the course of one year, I lost 28 pounds.
Fitness has positively influenced my life in many ways. I would say the number one most important way is in the way I feel mentally. I decided to put my health first and have stayed dedicated for over two years now. It makes me feel proud that I have accomplished so much in a short time and later in life. I feel good in my own skin and this gives me the confidence that I use to terribly lack. Who would’ve thought that I would be modelling at the age of 50!
If I won $20,000 as the next Ms Health and Fitness, the first thing I would do would be to pay off some bills. I know, boring, haha. Next, I’ve been dreaming about starting my own personal training business. I would love to get my personal trainers certification and invest in a home training gym. It would be amazing to help others feel as good about their health and fitness as I do.
