What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

As a professional athlete, I look at every single day as an opportunity to get closer to my end goal, making my 2nd Olympic team and earning a medal. I always tell others to have their goal at the forefront of their mind and chip away at it a little every day. Working to achieve a healthy, well-balanced lifestyle requires attention and consistency with eating and exercise habits. Once old habits are broken and new ones are developed, the sky is the limit on what they can achieve.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness is has been apart of my entire life. I have always been active and now as a professional athlete, I have learned even more about the importance of fitness. My career has been a continuous learning process, helping me grow in knowledge of how I can better and how I can share my knowledge to help others be better. I have been given a platform as an Olympian and a fit mother to share with other women who need that extra boost of inspiration, how they can stay motivated as well!
