What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

I would highly recommend finding activities that you love to do. I always tell my clients that we all have our own fitness personalities. Just like finding a career, find something you love that allows you to stay active. Start off small by changing one habit at a time until you find yourself all in. You will start to enjoy the way you feel, more energy, better mood, and getting stronger makes your everyday life just easier!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has always been a part of who I am due to the fact in high school I choose this path so I would always be healthy. My family has a history of obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. It was a major motivating factor in who I am today. So choosing to be a personal trainer has allowed me to have the amazing career in helping others achieve the same thing. And it's been amazing to be able to pass this on to my children.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

My daughter is going to school to be a dietitian so I would love to use that money to help her through college.
