Once a workout routine and nutrition program has been determined, be patient with the process as your goals won't happen overnight. Strive to be diligent with following your plan but don't deprive youself. If you fall off the wagon don't beat yourself up, but dust yourself off and refocus. Finally, never underestimate the importance of a good night's rest. To little sleep can impair weight loss.
As we continue to navigate through these challenging times, fitness has helped me to release stress and have a more positive outlook on life. Also, as a seasoned woman it is necessary that I vigorously move in order to combat the issues of aging. Bottom line, fitness is almost a guarantee that I will be healthy as long as I keep at it.
I would create opportunities for girls and women in disadvantaged communities to understand the importance of regular exercise, a nutritious diet and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to look and feel their very best, and for overall health and wellness.
