I recommend having patience. It takes time to surpass mental & physical barriers but when you do, health and fitness becomes a huge priority and will allow for you to achieve things that you never thought possible. Learn to thrive with the powerful women around, instead of comparing yourself to them. it’s never too late to focus on becoming the person you want to be, mentally and physically. Whether you think so or not, your goals are never too big to be achieved.
Fitness positively influences my life because it allows me to make new friends with common goals. Fitness guides my decisions and what I let impact me, mentally and physically. The gym has always been such a positive environment for my friends and I. The more that I achieve and help others achieve through fitness, the more successful and confident I feel :)
I would get Certified as a Strength & Conditioning Coach, then design a website with food/training tips to help others meet their health goals. Next, I want to put equity into a couple local gyms to show support for environments that have improved the lives of countless people. I also want to hold a large event, similar to the Women’s Barbell Classic for females to get together and support, empower and educate one another through exercise of various kinds!!
