I would recommend that you give it all you GOT! Make a schedule and stick to it. It won’t always be easy but anything worth having is worth fighting for! Fight for your dreams, fight toward your goals, FIGHT for your overall health! You’ll love yourself that much more when you come out on the other side.
Fitness keeps me focused and centered. It’s a positive impact on my life because it helped me build confidence in myself. As I completed each challenge I set for myself, I found a new faith in who I was from the inside out. By the time I reached my fitness goals, I was a different person inside. One who had the gall to chase after what belonged to her: LIFE! Working out relieves stress, helps me think clearly even helps me through heartache and loneliness. I AM because I DID.
When I become the next Ms Health and Fitness, I will use the $20k to encourage and support other women who have dealt with depression by starting a nonprofit community center where people can come to transform themselves mind body and sprit. A place where they can get the assistance they need from financial help to mental support to physical transformations. I want to heal the world from depression and teach everyone what self care really is: Putting YOU first.
