Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Yosely Ruiz and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
Start small with physical activities that you enjoy to get in the rhythm of moving your body, whether it's hiking, swimming, any exercise helps! Also cut out sugary drinks and candies if you want to see faster results, plus too much isn't healthy anyways. Always build up to it though, don't just go at an extreme or else you will fall back into old habits. Anything is possible, just need to learn to be patient and with discipline and consistency, you can be healthy and fit. Just don't give up!
Honestly, as an actor rejection is what we get most and it messes with your mental state. I was feeling depressed and when I began working out I started feeling like I did have some level of control on my life. Now I rarely feel low, in fact fitness has given me a level of confidence that I didn't have before. My journey is still at its beginning but I already feel both my mind and body getting stronger.
If I were to win I would invest it into my Public Health Master's; which will focus on Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyles at Colorado State University.
