If I can do it so can you! I was an overweight mom with 3 kids in my late 30's before I found fitness.
Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Tanya Lee and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
I always say start small. Pick something you can do without and do that for a few weeks. Once you got that move on to something else! Being fit and healthy is a marathon not a sprint, it will take time. But time is going to pass anyway so why not use it to be healthy for yourself and family. Also be consistent!!! You may stumble and falter, we all do. How you recover from it is what counts! Don't waste time feeling guilty, just reset and start up again.
It helps me release stress so I'm a better me, mom and wife! It gives me mental clarity to help me through the day. It also makes me realize just what I'm capable of mentally and physically!
I would put some away for my kids college fund. Some of it I would use to keep pursuing my passion for competing and trying to reach my goal of one day gracing the Olympia stage!
