Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Tania Rivera and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
I would recommend to find your "WHY", Why are you wanting to change your life and be healthier? When someone finds their "Why", it creates an emotional connection. When you are doing something to just do something rather than doing something that you know the reason behind the movement will motivate to keep going even when you don't want to. Create a WHY that sets your soul on fire, then start... and every day after show up consistently for yourself.
Fitness is the cornerstone of my mental health. I battled anxiety, depression and eating disorders. Fitness really helped me find constructive ways to deal with those negative emotions and find the brighter sides of thing. My mother had breast cancer and passed about three years ago. Since working out had already been my therapy in dealing with my emotions, and I had created systems through sweating to deal with life, dealing with grief with is so raw, I naturally did what I knew best. Sweat.
My mother left us a place in Puerto Rico when she passed. My sister and I have taken it on to keep as legacy of her especially for our nephews to experience what my mom was like. She loved the Island it was her home. I would use the money to help pay for the condo and costs that come up unexpected.
