For anyone that would like to get fit and healthy, know your why. Know why you are doing it and remember to always do it for you. It all starts with the mindset. With nutrition, never think of it as a diet but as a lifestyle change. The way you think about everything plays a huge role. Remember to stay aligned mind, body, and spirit. Most importantly to understand that rest plays a big role in a healthy lifestyle. Proper nutrition, water, exercise, rest, and positive energy.
Fitness literally saved my life. After being in a very abusive marriage and a messy divorce, fitness became my escape. After a period of time I begin to love the change in my body, but wanted to understand more. So I became a personal trainer and then went back and got a degree in Exercise Science. The discipline of having a healthy lifestyle helped me in all areas of my life. Fitness is more than working out, it’s a way of life.
In all honesty, give thanks to the Most High. After that give a percentage to an organization that help women of domestic violence. After that invest into more equipment to help other women with their fitness journey. After all that, take myself on a well deserved vacation.
