What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

For anyone wanting to be healthy my #1 piece of advice is to just start. Start somewhere and know that each day, every action will lead to big results. Something is ALWAYS better than nothing. For all the mamas out there who are feeling overwhelmed, remember that we can only be as good for them as we are for ourselves. We can't pour from an empty cup. Also, they are always watching :)

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has saved my life. Lifting weights and being FIT has given me confidence but also shown my exactly what I am capable of (beyond babies). Being strongER after kids has given me such an appreciation for my body and what it CAN do. For me, fitness has shown me what I want for myself and my body after years of starvation and restriction. I am now looking to take up space and show others what you can do when you push the limits. \

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would use the $20,000 to grow my amazing MomBeyondBaby community that empowers moms around the world to go after what THEY want in their life after kids. I would also donate a portion to the National Eating Disorder Association being that I had anorexia for over 10 years of my life and want to give back to those who are also dealing with the horrific disease.
