Hey there!! I’m 37 and absolutely LOVE anything related to health and fitness. I’m a teacher, mom and figure competitor.
Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Sarah Hobson and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
You’ve all heard it before but get into a good routine. Start slow by drinking more water each day, meal prepping, training at the gym, getting outside more. I always thought it helped when I set goals and choose an activity to participate in with friends such as a walk/run for charity, mud run or figure competition. It’s overwhelming at first but with consistency it gets easier. Find a way to start your morning off right to boost motivation (reading, make bed, yoga, positive affirmat
In so many ways!!! Since I’m a teacher my patience is drained by the end of the day. Heading to the gym right after work helps as a stress reliever. After a good workout I feel rejuvenated and proud of myself. Fitness helps me to fight depression. I love helping others with their nutrition questions and it’s the biggest compliment when I see someone copying what I’m doing during my workout. I love getting stronger each day. My skin glows and I’m more energetic!
Winning $20,000 would be beyond amazing. I would use some of the money towards resources to better teach my students about proper fitness and nutrition. I’d also use some of the money for my family. I’d love to get back into competing, which can get expensive. It’s always been a dream to have voice and encourage others to be aware of the importance of fitness. I want my passion to be contagious.
