What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

First, trust the process! The process is slow but it is worth it! Second, get yourself into a structured routine - this keeps things easy and helps you stay consistent! Third, making this lifestyle change can be difficult at first so it’s important to remember that failure is not the opposite of success, it’s part of success. And last, fitness isn’t about being the best, it’s about being better than you were yesterday!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness is a catalyst for positive change! It can affect every part of your life and provide you with so much mental clarity! It helps you rid your life of any toxicity without even realizing it. Fitness has made me feel unstoppable. Ever since I started my fitness journey, I have accomplished things I never thought possible. I am in such a good place in my life right now and I want to share my greatness with others.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would find a vacant building to start my own fitness company/team (Sam Jams Fit Fam.. name needs work, haha) and start my mission to inspire others! I would love to teach parents how to meal prep for themselves and their children in an effort to combat childhood obesity. I want to help women feel comfortable in their own skin and feel good about themselves. I believe I have a gift and I can build a rapport with a complete stranger in minutes. I am ready to inspire the world!
