What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Track your Macros so you know what you are putting in your body. Remember it's okay to enjoy life, make memories and smile as often as possible. I also recommend finding a workout buddy to help keep you motivated, accountable and also to share your victories with. Find different ways to stay active, remember it can be your time or can get fit with the family. Options are endless for find the joy in being healthy and happy. #survivingandthriving

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has been an intricate part of my life! As a former D1 Athlete & Heart Disease Survivor fitness has been my driving force to have a healthy lifestyle. Staying fit keeps me happy and more productive, not only for my Kindergarten students but my family as well. I have become a role model for my 10 year old daughter who see's being fit as a way of life not a chore. If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

If I were the Next Ms. Health and Fitness I would use some of the money for my daughters's dance as well as pay it forward and help get more equipment for my school so the students have more options to stay healthy, active and thriving. Everyone deserves the chance to be healthy and happy. I want to inspire the uninspired.
