An unexpected perk of my fitness lifestyle was becoming a role model for girls & young women. After I was told I was an inspiration, I realized I was influencing females to be fit. It’s an honor & keeps me motivated. Choosing morning workouts & healthy routines gives me a sense of accomplishment. This impacts my attitude & choices for the rest of the day, including getting adequate rest, which motivates me for the next morning. It's even better if completed with others!
The $20,000.00 would fund a program that educates, trains, and develops healthy lifestyle habits for young women. Areas to be addressed include positive self-image, exposure to a variety of fitness options, habit training, developing peer to peer support, nutrition education, & injury prevention. Each female would learn how to manage their thoughts, words, actions, habits, and character to positively influence their life and the lives of others.
