Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Rachel Noelle Howard and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
I recommend knowing that to achieve something you can’t give up. You have to be in a place where you are surrounded by supporters. Even when things gets hard, to persevere and push through it! Also, this is a lifestyle change, not just a short term thing. Maintaining can be hard, but never deprive yourself! Make small, yet reachable and obtainable goals to keep yourself motivated, then make a new goal. Being healthy and fit not only brings confidence, but it can create friendships.
Fitness positively influences my life in so many ways. Me and my significant other live a healthy lifestyle together. We motivate each other, especially both of us coming from an overweight background. It brought us together in the first place. I feel good both mentally and physically as well as exiting confidence that I never had. Perfection is not the goal and comparing yourself to others is not either. My own personal goal has made me a happier and healthier, all while teaching others too.
I have always had a dream of opening my own gym. I personal train as of right now, but to have my own space would be amazing and I would be able to grow even more. Honestly I would use this money to pay off a few things to possibly get that dream more realistic. I work hard to make the money I do, as well as just had a complete career change from teaching to pharmaceutical sales. This would be the jump start I needed to change my life.
