Helping women develop inner confidence through fitness and nutrition.
Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Paula Bennett and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
1. Find an activity that is FUN for you!!! If you do not enjoy your activity then you are less likely to do it. In the last 12 years of being in the fitness industry I have seen trends come and go, but what remains consistent is that you have to MOVE your body daily. 2. You have to eat foods that are minimally processed the majority of the time. If you are doing something that you can not sustain for the rest of your life then that is not going to help you be healthy for a lifetime.
Fitness has given me an outlet and honestly saved my life. Fitness has kept me off of depression medicine and away from drowning my sadness/heart breaks in a bottle or two of wine.
If I were the next Ms. Health and Fitness, I would use the money to give my daughter a voice. She is in a situation where I feel she has not been allowed to make her OWN decisions. By winning Ms. Health and Fitness I would be able to provide for her to truly have a say in her future and where she lives. I would also take my mom on an Alaskan cruise, that is the one thing she has always wanted to do and has not had the opportunity.
