Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Niquelle Waters “Nikki” and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!

What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

It will not happen overnight, it takes time & commitment in the kitchen and in the gym. It takes dedication and takes holding yourself accountable for your results. You have to believe in yourself.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness helped me overcome an eating disorder that I had for 6 years. I competed in my first powerlifting meet & won my division in the State Games. I’ve had positive feedback from my clientele and have helped the youth of Natchitoches build a fitness foundation that they can grow upon as young athletes. I’ve helped clients who have had severe medical conditions overcome difficulties & obstacles. Their accomplishments help me be a better trainer with others in the future!

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

First of all, because I am a single parent working three jobs, I would use some of the money as a down payment on a new house. I would also buy more fitness equipment to accommodate my clientele. Of course I would take my children on a much needed VACATION!
