What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Believe you're capable of the change you envision. Start before you are ready and implement small habits daily that will drastically change your lifestyle overtime. Surround yourself with people who want to see you excel. When you fail, forgive yourself, try viewing it from a different perspective and try again. Set plans and procedures to set yourself up for success next time. Make it a priority. Don't compare yourself to anyone but you, your journey is so beautiful and incredibly different.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has gotten me through the toughest times in my life. We all face incredibly unique challenges. These times are more easily managed when you are taking care of yourself, in all aspects of health. This is shown through incredible women I train who constantly strive to be better. They take care of themselves first and are better mothers, sisters, daughters and friends. This creates a ripple effect that creates change in those around them. Impacting change is the most positive influence.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would build a community of women who believe in uplifting one another. One that is accepting of each others current flaws but also expects you to constantly strive to be better. I would educate women, putting on seminars and create new content so they have the tools and resources to grow and be exactly who they want to be. I also will donate a portion of the money to CHKD, Wounded Warrior Foundation, and create a donation program for active duty military spouses who want to be active.
