What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

I would recommend that in order to realise your goals and ambitions, you have to first understand that fitness/health is multi-faceted. You cannot chase physique change at any cost and you have to look after yourself psychologically, socially, economically, spiritually as well as physiologically. You should learn to be patient and understand that it's not a simple case of battle as hard as you can black or white, you win or lose. You have to be prepared to live in a spectrum and accept that.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

I feel powerful and confident in my own skin. I have learnt that I don't want to shrink into the shadows and become smaller. I want to become the strongest version of myself possible. Training and fitness has given me the opportunity to realise this. Also given me the confidence to step out on stage for the 1st time. The knock-on effect of this is that I feel I provide a much more valuable service to my clients. I help them to empower themselves, improving their quality of life as a result.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

Personally I would like to offer free coaching packages for a select few who would love to change their lives but are maybe not financially in a position where they can afford a trainer. I would also like to invest further in myself and purse a pre/post-natal training qualification to name but one I plan to try and complete. I would love to have the opportunity to start up a yearly fitness retreat with my business and this would allow me to do that.
