Set goals. Be determined and motivated to achieve them. Hold yourself accountable & be consistent. Do something you enjoy every day. Keep moving! Eat a well balanced diet. Keep track of what you consume to build healthy habits. It’s not about deprivation & difficult rules. Indulge occasionally! Eat based on your personal goals. Once you start seeing results of your hard work, it becomes a new way of life! Be patient, don’t be too hard on yourself & enjoy the progress.
I struggled with chronic pain & health issues for years, due to an accident. I began weightlifting to strengthen the muscles in my back & neck. It wasn’t easy, but I didn’t give up! Few months after, I was feeling results & my pain was decreasing each day. Seeing a light at the end of the tunnel motivated me to continue. Before I knew it, I set a goal to compete! Determination & effort made it possible, I achieved competition goals, making new friends along the way.
I will use a portion of the funds towards courses to further my fitness education. I take pride in helping others achieve their fitness goals. I will continue to compete & these funds will help to ease the associated financial burden. I will also donate to programs supporting Canadian Veterans struggling with PTSD. This cause is very close to my heart, to the hearts of my family & friends, we proudly support of one of our own family member, bravely continuing his battle against PTSD
