The first thing you have to do is choose to love yourself. Decide you will love yourself to health. If you find it difficult to make big changes at first, then make small changes. Small victories are huge victories! Those small victories will give you the confidence and belief in yourself to keep going on to more victories. You can do this! You just have to decide to not quit. Consistency builds into change, like raindrops will fill a bucket. It takes time, and time is your friend.
Fitness has helped me find out who I am and what I’m capable of. I look at fitness as a combination of mind, body and soul. To do what is required to have physical fitness requires strength of the mind, which then strengthens connection to your soul. This has really helped me in the last 3 years. Literally the gym saved my life. I lost 40 lbs due to extreme stress, and I knew lifting weights would help me eat to build muscle. And it did. And I got to know myself in the process!
I would put the money away to use in 5-6 years, to help my move to Venice Beach, California. I plan on moving there after my children are all graduated, so I have the time in between to plan and prepare.
