It takes working at it everyday. Start out slow and slowly increase. Change a bit of your diet at a time. For the gym, find something that you like to do. I’m a big believer in having a diet and exercise routine that is completely maintainable. Remember to have fun!
I find it a stress reducer. It has also helped my outlook on life. Being healthier makes me feel better and have more energy. I use to have to extra weight - losing 60lbs helped me gain more confidence in myself.
I would love to have to opportunity to build an software application (both phone apps and web apps) to help promote healthy choices in the workplace.
