What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Begin! Not tomorrow; not when weight lost, etc. There will always be an excuse. "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” –Chinese Proverb. Essentially, it’s never too late to accomplish the goals you desire. It is about taking action. Wishing or hoping is not going to change one's life. It may be challenging. It may be hard. Yet, will it be worth it? YES! If not now, WHEN? Begin now as WHEN may not come. Let's get fit & healthy!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness positively affects my life in all I do! It nourishes body and mind. Scientifically there is a direct connection to mood and movement. When I go for too long without movement not only does my physical body crave movement, my mind is distracted, more reactionary rather than responsive. Fitness sets the tone for my day, each and every day. Grounds me in the morning and calms in the evening. I could not imagine life without fitness and being active that contributes to my optimal well being.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

Empower those to achieve optimal wellness & NOT GIVE UP! As someone who struggled with weight my whole life, food addictions, and body image, I’d use $20,000 to build programs that can help those battling with some or all of these issues-making it as accessible no matter the financial situation through scholarships. Creating a safe, supportive community that is accessed anywhere through a live interactive platform. It is my PASSION to SHARE the simple tools that work for BEST Health.
