Fitness helps me to cope with my busy schedule that is filled with various responsibilities. An active fitness routine helps to give me mental focus while giving me strength and energy to help others. I enjoy pushing my boundaries with different fitness competitions to empower myself and inspire others.
As a recent breast cancer survivor, I would love to host a community screening event as Ms. Health and Fitness! This event could raise awareness and give the public an opportunity network with health care providers. Screening stations could aid assessment for blood pressure, weight management, nutrition counseling, fitness analysis for future group and individual exercise classes. I would also partnership with CHOA and Boys/Girls Club to counter educational workshops against childhood obesity.
