Australian UFC fighter living in KC, Missouri. I live & breath fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.
Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Megan Anderson and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
For people looking to be fit and healthy, the best thing I would recommend is consistency! It isn't going to be easy or a 'quick fix'. It's going to require a lot of hard work, dedication and persistence both in the gym and in the kitchen! If you start small and set yourself up for success, you'll change your life in the process.
As a professional fighter, I train multiple times a day, 6 days a week whether I'm in fight camp, or in between fights. I love training. I love that I can go to the gym every day and learn something new, push my body harder than the day before, become the best martial artist I can be.
As someone who deals with mental health issues, i would donate part of the $20k to a organization that raises awareness and helps people going through mental illness as well as give a percentage to help veterans and their families. I have previously served in the Australian Army and know first hand the challenges veterans and their families face post military life.
