What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Just start! Oftentimes, people get analysis paralysis when thinking about becoming fit and healthy. There is so much information out there that you only have to pick a few things to initially get going! Also, setting realistic goals has a huge part on the road to fitness. Plan for success, prepare for success, and expect success! Some goals may be more attainable than others, but hard work will always yield some kind of result!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has had many positive influences in my life. Being able to stay healthy means having the mobility to experience things, such as climbing over boulders to see wild penguins on a beach. It has provided me an immediate circle of friends after cross country moves. A huge positive has been encouraging and motivating to others on a fitness path, which in turn provides inspiration to all areas of my life. I'm able to put in hard work and see those efforts end in results that I can be proud of.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

If I were to be the next selected Ms. Health and Fitness, I would definitely use the winning funds to travel to more areas of the world to do iconic fitness events! Camino de Santiago and Ironman 70.3 Estonia are high on the list right now. I would use remaining funds to supplement gym membership costs to local residents in need.
