Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Meg and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!

What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

I would recommend to never give up no matter what! Being consistent over time in your routine is what will get you to your fitness and health goals, and most importantly help you KEEP THEM! Despite having bad days, it is important to keep your head high and keep moving forward in a positive direction. I've always juggled a lot; a mom of 2 boys, wife, business owner, and recently retiring after 6 years dancing professionally for the NBA and NFL, I know it's not always easy, but it's possible.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

I have bounced back from having 2 boys, one of which was immediately after dancing for the New Orleans Saints at Super Bowl 44. Without fitness and infinite support I would have never gotten past the thought of never having my pre-baby body back. Now it has become my release everyday, not only personally, but now influencing other women who are in the same mindset. I am much stronger, physically, spiritually and mentally today than I have ever been before. And it is all thanks to fitness!

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I thoroughly enjoy spending time adventuring and seeing new places! One of my bucket list trips is to go do a workout with my husband at Red Rocks Park And Amphitheater! That would be a must. Other than that, I would have to listen to my Motherly Instinct and invest the remaining money in my 2 boys' future. Not as exciting as you may want to hear, but family is the reason why I am who I am today!
