I would recommend others that the start to living a healthy lifestyle is having a positive mind and understanding it's a lifestyle not just a temporary situation. Good things take time, and it all starts in the kitchen. Not necessarily dieting but just making better food choices. Also not every workout works for every one, so chose something that is fun and efficient for you and to keep an openmind for new workouts/food/meditation.
The way that fitness has positively influenced my life is by giving me a boost in my CONFIDENCE. I'm a mom to a 9 year old and it's sometimes hard to feel pretty when you feel like a complete mess. Sometimes as a mom we do millions of things for others and forget to treat ourselves. Working out is treating yourself. Not only does it get you fit and healthy it also fights everyday stressors and anxiety. Helps me keeps sane!
