What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

It doesn’t matter where you start you just have to start. Weight lifting is the foundation to everything else. Don’t be afraid of the weights. Heavy weights don’t make women big... cupcakes do. There are so many people passionate about exercise and women in the gym don’t be afraid to ask for help. You can’t out train a bad diet. How does fitness positively influence your life?

Exercise, weight lifting in particular has given me the confidence that women deserve a space in the weight room and also I love watching my physique change with hard work. Natural Bodybuilding has shown me that anything is possible if you want it bad enough.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would donate money to my friends organization that teaches inner city boys and girls about health and nutrition and teaches them how to lift weights. It’s an amazing program she started in Worcester Massachusetts.
