Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Laura Wright and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!

What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

My number one piece of advice will always be, find what works for YOU! Each of us are beautiful and unique in our own ways as an individual. With that being said, you need to take care of your mind, body and soul in a personalized fashion. When you begin your fitness journey, it’s important to find mentors you trust and gain knowledge about what you’re doing. Most importantly, the process is about finding yourself, a lifestyle that works for you and igniting your fire from within

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has changed my life in more ways than I could ever explain. You know that feeling you get when you know you’ve found your passion in life? That’s exactly it. I strive to motivate others to reach their goals and better myself each day. I began working out 13 years ago with my Dad and have dedicated each day since then to all-around health and happiness. Through the years, fitness has helped me to find the depths of my strength and that I AM capable of overcoming difficulties

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

Since I was young, my Dad and I have dreamt of opening a fitness facility together. I would use the prize money to make that vision come to life. Fitness is important in my own life and I want to help others to have a positive atmosphere to come to and better their own lives. I would also donate $1,000 to “Stand Up to Cancer”. My family has been effected by cancer on numerous occasions now and I would love to give, so that they can continue to research and find a cure
