What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Whenever I was asked for one piece of advice, I always say “Use it or lose it!” Which was usually met with laughter but in all reality very true. We don’t use our body and our muscles atrophy, our metabolism slows, and our flexibility decreases and our general health declines. Move, stretch, challenge. Find something you enjoy. Not only do we reap the physical benefits of health, we can stave off or prevent chronic illness, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, depression and anxiety! T

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Not only have I had the pleasure of befriending and working with some amazing people, and positively influencing their lives but I have also improved the quality of my own. My long term goal is to maintain strength and fitness my entire life. Having had a child later in life, I want to enjoy activities together even in her adult years such as skiing and hiking. This motivates me now to challenge myself and make healthy food choices. Being a role model for my daughter is of utmost importance!

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

First, give thanks as I am already totally grateful for my baby girl and my health. Second, I would use the winnings to continue with the process of building the online business I have already began, allowing me to reach even more people, bringing affordable health, wellness and fitness to others.
