What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Just start. It comes full circle. Find inspiration use it for motivation. Start to eat more consciously, start to do something active everyday, start to drink more water, start to eliminate things you know are not good for your health. It will naturally build to a point of everything possible. Look for the style of exercise that appeals to you. Barre, weight lifting, running, stand up paddling, yoga. START making it the thing you do for yourself because you are WORTH IT! Find coaches you like.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

It grounds me, clears my mind, gives me more energy, makes me happier, gives me something to look forward to, creates routine in my life, builds confidence and self worth. Strength and beauty from the inside out!

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

Renovate my home to have a rental suite in the basement. Working towards providing a better life for my boys.
