Imagine being "summer time fine" all the time...UH, YES PLEASE!
Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Kacy Whitley and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
I would say find YOUR why. You're not looking for their why, her why or his why. This is a journey to a better YOU so you make the call. Once you find your why. Without contemplating too much, take a leap of faith! Even if it's in a small way...step out! If you miss the mark take another small step. Never quit. The longer you work at it, it gets easier, and for those times when it it seems like it isn't easy, remember your why.
I use fitness as a coping skill and a form of self-care. I consider fitness my "shake it off and refocus" pill. Being that exercise helps trigger endorphins that help assist brain functions. Being active in fitness allows me to recenter self. Fitness allows time for me to process things, most times in a different more effective, more positive way. One day I started working out. Over the years my passion for being active healthy and fit only intensified. Now it's apart of my left style!
If I were to win this competition I would use the winnings to build my business centered around assisting woman subjected to civil and domestic abuse/violence who have developed PTSD and low self esteem. My goal is to assist those women in building self-love, seeing themselves as worthy of self love and good things. To develop an understanding that her past does not define her. That she is beautiful, unique, talented, and strong.
