I am a wife, and mother to an active 10 year old boy; who happens to lift heavy weight in her spare time. I began my journey at 35yrs old.
Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Jessica Johnston and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!
I would recommend patience and consistency. Two of the keys to helping me stay on track has been consistency and patience, progress takes time.
My fitness journey has been the one constant battle in my life. Trying to keep it a priority over the last 5 years (after I became more dedicated and focused on bodybuilding) has been the one thing that has helped improve both my confidence and mental health. Going to the gym and having a goal every year for improvement is what helps keep me focused. It also helps to show my son that being active and strong later in life can keep your body and mind healthy.
The one thing that I have never been able to afford is a meal prep service. This would help me make it part of my budget. I recently went back to school to become a nurse (complete career change from my finance background) and alleviating the stress of preparing my meals would be AWESOME!
