Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Jessica Finnestead and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!

What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

I tell them to focus on what goals they have at whatever fitness level they may be, and work towards each goal in small steps. Small steps over time are leaps and bounds of amazing progress to be happy and proud of! Never give up, you can absolutely reach your dreams. Surround yourself with like minded people to help push you and keep you motivated. We give up on ourselves too easily so it is nice to have accountability and support!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

I started working out during my split from my husband, I was out of shape, no self worth, and completely broken. Training gave me a great focal point to bring into not only my world but my family as well. I decided after reaching esthetic goals that I wanted to push myself further, so I started to train for my first competition. I was inspired by watching the figure girls at the Arnold Expo in 2018. I feel like my whole life is surrounded by amazing people and incredible opportunities like this

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would be a great way for me to invest in starting my own business in the fitness industry. I have some fun ideas that I know would be so great for my daughter and I to share a new adventure together. I love showing her how to be a strong, independent little lady and this would be life changing for our next chapter.
