Jennifer Warshefski

Fitness saved my life. It helped me develop character and the drive to help inspire others to create better versions of themselves.

Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Jennifer Warshefski and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!

What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Fitness is a lifestyle, not a fad. Anyone who chooses to become fit should know that the journey ahead of them will be tough, have its ups and downs, but in the long run, will lead to long term health.I would tell them to enjoy every single part of the journey as it is a hard one that has to be consistent and requires dedication to see results for the long term. Anyone who's not happy with themselves and seeks to become more fit and healthy, should never be afraid to take their first step.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness helped me through my years of being anorexic. It taught me if I didn't have enough fuel for my body to workout, I would lose everything I worked so hard for. It has taught me how to love myself, eat healthy, feel as a part of a community, dedication, a hard work ethic, and a mindset of an athlete that would never ever give up and influenced the way I live my life on a daily basis. The gym is my sanctuary, a place I feel safe and unstoppable.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I would utilize part of the money to pay off my college debt and invest the rest to start my own dog grooming business in the future.
