What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

I would recommend that you take time to evaluate yourself. Look at where you are at now and where you want to be. See what has and hasn't worked for you in the past. You should look at how you can start putting your health and wellbeing first. Nutrition, body movement and how you can get help to Balance a new way of life. Start from the basics; Push-ups, Sit-ups, Pull-ups and Squats. Ease into it. Then you can try different variations. Remember,this is your time. Enjoy it!

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness is my outlet. It helps me every day to stay focused, goal oriented and it helps me destress. Being fit helps me stay strong mentally and physically so I know I can overcome things that come my way on a daily basis. I look at fitness as my way of life. Just like brushing my teeth or washing my face. It is neccessary so I can live a long enjoyable life.

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

If I was able to win Ms Health and Fitness I would love to give some money back to others who are needing help, some I know and some I don't. I love the concept of pay it forward. There are alot of youth out there who can not afford gym memberships but would love to be at a gym learning and exercising. I would help the youth with gym memberships, Nutrition, sports gear, athletic dues or something along those lines. Saving money is always good to do too.
