Ms. Health and Fitness and Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors would like to thank Jenna Johnson and her voters for helping us donate to our injured United States military veterans!

What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Know your goal and know your why. Define what fit and healthy means to you and your lifestyle, and work to make the changes to meet that. Fit and healthy is not based on the perceptions of social media and “standards” that society seems to hold upon us. Be real, be realistic. What you want to change and how bad you want it will dictate the effort and motivation behind the thought. Be patient with yourself and the process, and find those you can lean on for support in your journey.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

Fitness has made me, me. I have learned so much about myself and my life because of my fitness journey. A journey I didn’t realize I was on, until looking back. Overtime, my understanding of “being fit” has changed its course. I am now embracing a life of strength (physically and in the core of who I am) because of fitness, and I’ve learned to have a better relationship with food based on the goals I have. I’m finding more balance in my life to be all around happy

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

I want to find ways to share what I’ve learned and how my journey has changed my life, in hopes it can help to influence and connect to others so they can feel the same passion for change. Host a powerful women’s retreat. My boss has a business idea to invest into that would help trainers, and therefore, clients. I’d like to partner with a food company for a line of macro friendly sweets.. because we all have a sweet tooth to treat😋 vacation and pay off debts.
