My top recommendation for others to be fit and healthy is to take it a day at a time. Rome wasn't build in a day, and neither will your body. Wake up, and start your day by acknowledging everything you do is a choice. You can choose to add cheese or you can choose to save it for the next meal. You can take the stairs, or you can take the elevator. Every choice you make in the right direction helps you on your journey. Start there and you'll find that harder choices get easier over time!
Fitness has influenced every facet of my life. It's the one thing that I am truly good at, and when I recognized this, my life changed. It's not that my whole life revolves around eating the right things, and getting to the gym. For me it's about being a better person, inside and out. I think of it as a one of the cycles that you get stuck in. The better you feel you look, the better you actually feel, the more drive you have to continue improving both physically and mentally.
If I were the next Ms Health and Fitness I would take some time to sit and think about what to do with $20k. But if I'm being honest, I would pay off my mom's loan debt, and then my own student loan debt. That would put me in a position where I would then pour my additional resources into creating a Fitness Event Platform where you can book myself, HT Physique for fitness events to replace those boring corporate meetings or tea parties, and everyone can get started on their fitness journey!
